GigTrain ("we", "us", "our") operates a comedy professional suite platform that helps comedians and promoters manage gigs, setlists, finances, and promotional materials. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our app.

- Account data: Name, email address, role (performer/promoter).
- Profile data: Stage name, profile photo, comedy bio, home postcode, contact details (phone, WhatsApp, Instagram).
- Gig data: Gig dates, venue details, fees, setlists, performance notes, and travel mileage.
- Financial data: Invoice details, expenses, payment status, and receipt images.
- Subscription data: Tier, payment status, and transaction records processed via Base44 Payments (Wix).
- Application data: Messages, video clips, and headshots submitted for gig applications.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To provide gig management, scheduling, and notification features.
- To process subscription payments and enforce tier-based feature access.
- To generate digital business cards and promotional images.
- To send gig reminders, application updates, and post-gig follow-up notifications.
- To calculate travel distances and maintain financial records.
- To facilitate communication between performers and promoters.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only when necessary to operate the service:
- Payment processor (Wix): Subscription billing is handled by Wix Payments. We do not store card details.
- Promoters/Performers: Gig application details (name, video clips, headshots) are shared with the relevant promoter when you apply for a gig.
- Public business cards: Only fields you explicitly opt in to show are visible on your public business card.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Historical records (gigs, invoices) may be retained independently of subscription tier changes. You can request deletion of your account at any time from the Profile page.
6. Your Rights
- Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
- Withdraw consent for data sharing at any time.
- Request account deletion from within the app (Profile → Delete Account).
- Opt out of non-essential communications.
7. Security
We use industry-standard encryption and access controls. Subscription gating is enforced both client-side and server-side. User data is isolated via Row-Level Security (RLS) policies.
